Semaglutide Description
Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist. It is an antidiabetic medication used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes and an anti-obesity medication used for long-term weight management. Semaglutide is not for use in people with type 1 diabetes. This product is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in patients. The higher-dose formulation of Semaglutide is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise for long-term weight management in adults with obesity (initial body mass index (BMI) ≥ 30 kg/m2) or who are overweight (initial BMI ≥ 27 kg/m2) and have at least one weight-related comorbidity.
Effects:
– Weight loss up to 8 kg in 3 months
– Suppresses appetite
– Improved metabolism
– Stabilizes blood sugar levels
– Reduces inflammation, improves recovery
Action:
Semaglutide reduces high blood sugar by increasing the amount of insulin released, decreasing the amount of glucagon released, and delaying gastric emptying. Semaglutide also controls appetite and helps reduce the amount of food a person wants to eat. In addition, this product reduces preference for high-fat meals.
In clinical studies, Semaglutide had a positive effect on plasma lipids, reduced systolic blood pressure and reduced inflammation. In animal studies, Semaglutide slowed the development of atherosclerosis by preventing the progression of aortic plaque development and reducing plaque inflammation.
How to use it and dosage:
- You need to administer one injection once a week.
- The dosage can range from 1 to 3 mg, depending on your individual tolerance to the medication.
- Studies have shown that in a control group where participants took 2.4 mg once a week for a year or longer, results were significantly better than in the 1 mg group. The optimal dosage depends on your personal preferences, but we recommend a dose of 1-2 mg per week.
- A vial of Semaglutide contains 2 mg of active substance in powder form. You need to add Bacteriostatic Water (which you can purchase at a pharmacy or on our website) to it, and the product is ready to use.
A simple example:
Take 1 vial of 2 mg Semaglutide,
Take 1 vial of 10 ml Bacteriostatic Water,
Take a 1 ml (1 cc) insulin syringe,
Add 1 ml (1 cc) of Bacteriostatic Water to the 2 mg Semaglutide vial.
If you want to inject 2 mg of Semaglutide, you should inject 1 ml (1 cc) of the prepared solution.
If you want to inject 1 mg of Semaglutide, inject 0.5 ml (0.5 cc) of the prepared solution. The remaining 0.5 ml can be stored in the refrigerator until the next injection in a week. The remaining Bacteriostatic Water can also be stored in the refrigerator.
How long does the course last?
Studies mention the use of Semaglutide for up to 1 year or even longer. You can start with an 8-12 week course and continue it until you achieve the desired results.
